Bloody Hell. This is good stuff. Otherworldly drones on an epic stereo scale, with some truly beautiful moments of Satie-esque piano sequences. I love the percussion in 'Entering the Realm of Dis Pater' - as if the drum is broadcasting from another galaxy. Some soaring Blade Runner synth swells throughout also, but done in such a way that this is a very unique album with influences but ultimately this is 'Idylls' own unique sound and experience. Look forward to checking more out.

This album is fantastic. Perfectly polished in all the right ways, but organic and human in all the right ways as well. Dense atmosphere, orchestral, beautiful and plainly epic. Definitely one of my favorites from this year.
